What a bunch of malarkey. I'm returning it to Amazon with a scathing review. Basically it goes on and on about how helping your child "unlock their innate ability to sleep well" while retaining a strong attachment is great bla bla bla, then just when you start getting excited literally halfway through the book they reveal the magic.... Controlled crying they call by the innocuous name "the sleep wave" with a check in where you repeat a pre-scripted "comforting" line every 5 min!!!!!!!! No touching, no straying from the script, no staying too long in the room. And their "breastfeeding" suggestions are just as ridiculous as every other sleep training program: "just pump out a bottle before bed and have it handy for dad!" "Make sure that if you insist on still nursing at night even though baby 'doesn't need the calories' that you NEVER let baby fall asleep on the breast. Put them down drowsy, if they cry, go back to the 'sleep wave'". So now you know. This book is a sly attempt to pull...
