For background, I'm an engineer and avid reader, and often tend towards criticism and cynicism, especially with inspirational or motivational books.
However, in the very first chapter, Lara won me over and connected with me, just like we were sitting over a cup of coffee.I felt like she was telling me my own life; struggling with perfectionism, an eating disorder, and a terrifying fear of mediocrity. But the book didn't leave me there, drowning in these fears. It challenged me to get to the bottom of where these fears come from, and how I can make real change happen in my life by overcoming the barriers that I've set up for myself, like a fear of success. I can already tell that this book will make a difference in my life.
