Simple, profound, and honest. These are a few words I would use to describe "Unwritten Letters to You (Volume1)". I became familiar with the author via tumblr, always interested in the thoughtful ease of his writing style. The ability to thoroughly relate to the simplicity of T.B. LaBerge's writings are what ultimately drew me to this book. Each page is graced with an honesty that touches upon a truth that each reader can point to in their own lives. T.B. LaBerge puts words to the emotions that our human nature allows us to be unsure of, inviting us readers to be uncertain with him. As and English major in college, I have read many a poem and memoir that left me scrambling to understand what the author was saying. A lot of times, this confusion is intentional. "Unwritten Letters to You" leaves no question as to what LaBerge is feeling, and allows enough vulnerability for the reader to connect in his or her own way.
