I read the latest Rough Cuts version of Lean Enterprise on Safari Books Online just before they finally published the final ebook and Kindle version; I'm anxiously awaiting hard copies I can circulate with co-workers.
I'm admittedly already sold on the Lean Startup concepts and have picked up anything remotely dealing with how to foster similar levels of innovation and entrepreneurship inside a mature company. Humble and his co-authors have packaged together in a very digestible form research, case studies, and practical guidance. It tends to talk predominately in terms of software delivery, but I don't think it's unapproachable to non-techies. There's plenty of content that will make sense to (and challenge preconceptions of) project managers, directors of engineering, CFOs, CEOs, business development and sales folks.
A couple of years ago, Continuous Delivery was the book I was telling everyone they need to read. In 2015, I think it's Lean Enterprise.
